This will be the third year I’ve attended this show. It’s the Midwest edition of this long running show, started right here in Chicagoland. I have some fond memories of the one single year I attended this same show back in the mid 90’s. I was asked to work at the booth for my local high end MTB shop, who was a midwest Yeti dealer. I was very good friends with the owner of this shop, and I lived at the place, and knew as much or more about mtb at this time than anyone he knew.
But I digress…I have hours of footage from the last 2 years, but never posted it. But this year I certainly will. I go to these events focused mainly on anything I think interesting, within the XC realm. It’s not easy either, as 99% of the show is for everything but XC and race bikes. But so far I’ve managed to find all kinds of things hidden away, and this year I hope will be no different.
