After literally years and years, a new source for XC mountain biking and racing will finally launch. This project has been a mess, as I couldn’t decide how I wanted to present and discuss my favorite sport and hobby. 2025 will mark year 34 since I first bought a mountain bike and pinned on a number. Having had a great BMX racing childhood, within a few months of buying a mountain bike, I decided I must try a race. Racing and riding to me are one in the same. I ride so I can race, and once a race is done, it makes me want to ride more, in a circle if you will. There has not been one single year of those 34 that I did not race at least a few times. A few years there was only one race. My streak shall not end in 2025 if I can help it. So with that short boring history lesson, I proclaim Short Travel Magazine a go.
